Blacktalon poem

The snow is thick,
Saliva thickens.
Prey blunders,
All the better.
The pace quickens,
We have been waiting,
Ever so paitently,
For now.
The target is large,
Healthy,
Dangeroues...
All the more satisfying.
Anticipation for the hunt is evident,
In their eyes,
Their teeth,
And most evident in their Talons,
Black as soot
Saliva thickens.

I was just kinda bored and looked for some sort of insiration and I saw my dog stalking a rabbit, then ideas popped into my head and I just kinda made it Blacktaoln-y with the least to lines cause it kidna fits but it fit better in my head! Glad that you guys like it even though it is by far NOT my best work.
